Can anybody tell me a different fried chicken recipe?

FLORIDA FRIED CHICKEN





1 frying chicken, cut into pieces


1 quart water


1/2 cup salt


oil (sufficient for frying)


3 cups flour


1 tablespoon poultry seasoning


red pepper powder (paprika)





Soak chicken in salt water to cover, (about one quart with 1/2 cup salt) in refrigerator for 3 hrs or over night.





Combine in a bag: 3 cups flour, 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning, 1 tablespoon paprika.





Coat wet pieces in bag 2 or 3 at a time. Fill a deep frying pan with 3 inches of oil and heat on medium high until a 1 inch cube of bread dropped in turns golden brown in one minute (about 360 degees F). Fry chicken pieces until golden brown, starting with the largest pieces (about 15 minutes on both sides). Reduce heat if chicken browns too quickly.





Keep warm in 300F oven as remaining pieces are prepared..

CRUSTY FRIED CHICKEN





1 (2-3 lb.) frying chicken, cut up


2 tbsp. milk


1 egg


2 tbsp. chopped parsley


1/2 cup cracker meal


1/2 cup finely ground salted peanuts


Salt and pepper to taste





Dip cut up chicken in thoroughly mixed egg-milk batter, then dip each piece in combination of ground peanuts, cracker meal, salt, pepper and chopped parsley. Be sure chicken is evenly coated with the peanuts and cracker crumbs.





Fry in hot oil in heavy frying pan til each piece is golden brown and tender. Drain; serve piping hot with gravy made from pan drippings.





Gravy:





Drain fat from skillet; leaving brown pieces of peanut cracker crust in skillet. Measure 2 tbsp. flour, blend well with 2 tbsp. fat in skillet, then add all at once, 1 cup water. Stir constantly until gravy is of proper consistency. Season to taste.

STIR FRY SWEET %26amp; SOUR CHICKEN





3 boneless skinless chicken breast


sesame seeds (optional)


1 green bell pepper (julienned)


1 clove of garlic (chopped)


2 1/2 tbsp. of coconut oil


1 jar of La Choy sweet and sour sauce





Cube chicken into desired chuncks; set aside. Heat oil until melted over low heat. Add sesame seeds and chopped garlic, stir to mix together, turn up heat to med-hi, and add chicken.





Stir fry until chicken is thoroughly cooked, then add bell pepper and sweet and sour sauce. Stir and turn down heat to low.





Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes until bell pepper is soft and tender. Serves 2-3.Can anybody tell me a different fried chicken recipe?
Southern Fried Chicken:





Ingredients:





* 4 pounds chicken pieces


* 1 1/2 cups milk


* 2 large eggs


* 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour


* 2 tablespoons salt


* 2 teaspoons pepper


* 3 cups vegetable oil


* salt





Preparation:


Rinse chicken; pat dry and then set aside.





Combine milk and eggs in a bowl; whisk to blend well.





In a large heavy-duty resealable plastic food storage bag, combine the flour, salt, and pepper.





Dip a chicken piece in the milk mixture; let excess drip off into bowl. Put a few chicken pieces in the food storage bag and shake lightly to coat thoroughly. Remove to a plate and repeat with remaining chicken pieces.





Heat oil to 350掳. Fry chicken, a few pieces at a time, for about 10 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Chicken breasts will take a little less time than other pieces. Pierce with a fork to see if juices run clear to check for doneness. With a slotted spoon, move to paper towels to drain; sprinkle with salt.Can anybody tell me a different fried chicken recipe?

Deep South Fried Chicken





Ingredient





* 205 g shortening


* 250 g all-purpose flour


* 6 g salt


* 2 g ground black pepper


* 1 (2 to 3 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces





Method:





1. Heat the shortening in a large, cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.


2. In a brown paper lunch bag, combine the flour, salt, and pepper. Shake two chicken pieces in the bag to coat, and place them in the skillet. Repeat until all of the chicken is coated and in the skillet.


3. Fry the chicken over medium-high heat until all of the pieces have been browned on both sides. Turn the heat to medium-low, cover, and cook for 25 minutes. Remove the lid, and increase heat to medium-high. Continue frying until chicken pieces are a deep golden brown, and the juices run clear.





Preparation time - 10 minutes


Cooking time - 35 minutes


Ready in - 45 miniutes
