Can someone give me a chicken, pasta bake recipe?

here's the ingredients I have, can I bake this and if so how should I prepare this dinner? I'm a new cook:





7 chicken legs





2 large cans of diced tomatos





onions, garlic powder, pepper, thyme, cilantro, oregano





1 green pepper





2 boxes of rotini pasta





bottle of olive oil

Well, I'm going to give it a whirl....try this:





1) Heat a little oil in a skillet, season your legs with a little salt %26amp; pepper and brown chicken well on all sides. Remove and place in oven safe casserole dish, set aside.


2) Slice up 1 onion and the green pepper. Saute in a little more oil until onion begins to turn transluscent. Add a sprinkle of garlic powder, pepper and oregano. Add one large can of tomatoes (with some of the liquid) and mix well (and carefully).


3) Pour sauce over chicken, cover with foil and bake in 350掳F/180掳C oven for 25-30 minutes.


4) Serve over cooked rice or pasta.

you could try a mock paella, brown the legs in olive oil, saute some onion and garlic in ev olive oil when translucent add to chicken. add tomatos and rice, careful with the rice. add what ever spices you like cover and simmer. when the rice is done it is ready. you might have to add water. watch it
ok...


1. boil the ckicken legs till cooked in some water and some salt till the meat is tender and cooked.


1a. take an onion and chop it up and satea in oil or butter till tender.


2. when the chicken leg are done take them out and set aside to cool


3. make a roux. to do this melt like 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan and then add some flour. stir. then add about 3/4 cup of the water that you boiled the chicken in with about 1/2 cup of milk . stir this until it becomes thick and creamy.


(choose wether you want rice or pasta. i would suggest pasta)





peal the chicken and add to roux along with the tomatos,onions, and spices.


( if you dont want a tomato base you can not put in the tomato, and add cream of mushroom soup if you have it)





4. mix pasta/rice with the roux well then put into a baking dish. put in the oven and bake at 350 fo 25 min.





hints: make sure every pasta is covered.


if you do not want to bake you can boil the noodles first and then just add the roux to the boiled noodles
