I am looking for the best (chicken) gravy recipe ever.....?

Chicken Gravy Mix





INGREDIENTS:


1-1/3 cups instant nonfat dry milk powder


3/4 cup instant blend flour


1/4 cup instant chicken bouillon granules


1/4 tsp. dried sage leaves


1/8 tsp. ground sage


1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves


1/8 tsp. pepper


1/2 cup butter


PREPARATION:


In medium bowl, combine milk powder, instant flour, bouillon granules, thyme, sage and pepper, and stir with a wire whisk to blend thoroughly. Cut in butter or margarine with pastry blender or two knives until evenly distributed and particles are fine.





To make chicken gravy:





1 cup cold water


1/2 cup chicken gravy mix





Pour water into a small saucepan. Stir chicken gravy mix into the water, using a wire whisk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until gravy is smooth and thickened, about 3 minutes. Makes about 1 cup.I am looking for the best (chicken) gravy recipe ever.....?
FAST FRIED CHICKEN WHITE GRAVY





4 cups whole milk


1 cup cream


1/2 cup butter


1/4 cup flour


1/8 cup diced chives


1/4 cup finely chopped onion


1 tablespoon salt (to taste)


1 tablespoon pepper


3 chopped cloves of garlic


a pinch of sage








In a large saucepan cook onions, chives, and garlic in the butter until onions are translucent. DO NOT BURN BUTTER.


Add flour; stir for about a minute. Quickly whisk in milk and cream. Add salt and pepper to taste.





Whisk gravy constantly until it becomes thick and creamy.

Chicken Gravy (Easy!):

2 cups





2 cups low sodium chicken broth (Herbox or Campbell's Healthy Request reduced sodium)


3 tablespoons cornstarch


1 teaspoon poultry seasoning





1. Bring chicken stock to a boil.


2. Dissolve cornstarch in a small amount of cold water and add to chicken stock.


3. Season to taste with poultry seasoning and cook until thickened.


4. Serve!

For the chicken


1 whole chicken, cut into parts


milk


1 stick (1/4 pound) butter


1 cup flour


1 tablespoon seasoned salt


2 teaspoons paprika


3/4 teaspoon pepper


1/2 teaspoon salt





For the gravy


2 tablespoons chopped scallion


1/2 cup chopped fresh mushrooms


3 tablespoons butter and drippings from baking dish, combined with scraped up crispy bits from chicken


2 tablespoons of the leftover flour seasoned for chicken preparation


1 cup milk


1 chicken bouillon cube (optional
