Where can I find a recipe for Honey Apple Chicken?

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon


2 cups apple juice


1/2 cup flour


1 teaspoon salt


1 broiler-fryer chicken (cut into frying parts, skin removed if you like)


1 large red apple (cored and cut into 8ths)


2/3 cup vegetable oil (divided)


1/2 teaspoon black pepper


1/4 teaspoon paprika


2 tablespoons honey








1)Mix cinnamon with apple juice in a large bowl; add chicken, cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.





2)Saut茅 apple slices in 1/3 cup of oil in a large skillet (approximately 5 minutes over medium heat).





3)Remove chicken from marinade and drain.





4)Reserve liquid.





5)In a plastic bag, place flour, salt, pepper and paprika; shake and mix well.





6)Add chicken (a few pieces at a time).





7)Shake to coat well.





8)Add remaining oil to skillet and cook chicken approximately 10 minutes over medium-to-high heat, or until brown on all sides.





9)Drain and discard oil.





10)Add reserved marinade and honey to skillet.





11)Reduce heat, basting occasionally, about 35-40 minutes.





12)Decorate with apple slices.

1/2 cup raisins


4 chicken cutlets

Heat grill or broiler. In small bowl, combine all


ingredients except chicken; blend well.





When ready to barbecue, oil grill rack. Brush


chicken with apple mixture; place on gas grill


over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4-6'; from


medium coals or on broiler rack 4-6'; from heat.


Cook 15-20 minutes until juices run clear and


chicken is fork tender, turning occasionally and


brushing frequently with apple mixture.

4 chicken breasts


Olive oil


Handful of blanched almonds


Handful of raisins


2 tsp. curry powder


1 lg. cooking apple, peeled, cored and cut up


2 stalks celery


Chicken stock


2 tbsp. honey


White wine


Brown chicken breasts in a little olive oil. Mix in curry powder. Remove from heat and add almonds, raisins, celery, honey and apple. Add chicken stock and wine to just cover and simmer on top of stove for 20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Add more liquid, if needed. Serve with rice and a green vegetable. Serves 4 people.
