Any ideas for a recipe including chicken and hummus??

I am having chicken for dinner, I also have a pot of hummus that needs to be used today... any ideas??Any ideas for a recipe including chicken and hummus??
Hiya.

Seeing as hummus is made from sesame seeds and it has a very strong flavour, I suggest using some of it in a stir fry and adding the chicken, shredded, to the mix.

Get some stir-fry vegetables, shredded chicken, about a tablespoon of hummus and some soy sauce and some sliced peppers.

Cook according to instructions and serve it with boiled rice or noodles.

The hummus would be a substitute of the sesame oil in the stir fry. Add a tiny bit of olive oil when frying the vegetables and chicken but there is quite a bit of oil in hummus too so you don;t need any more.

Make sure you don't add too much hummus as it will make the stir fry sloppy.

Bleurgh. Don't want that.Any ideas for a recipe including chicken and hummus??
Get some pita, and vegetables.

Grill or fry or bake or boil the chicken, and cut it in strips.

Spread the hummus onto the pita, and add a few strips of chicken. Add some fresh veggies (lettuce, tomato, pickles, turnips, etc.) and voila!

Or, and this isn't exactly a dinner, buy some mini bagel chips (they are crackers) spread the hummus on top, and add some chopped up chicken.

Chicken Salad:

Cut up the chicken real, real, REAL thin, and put it in a bowl. And some hummus, and mix it until it looks like chicken salad. Spread between two slices of bread, and serve with carrot sticks and cucumber slices (with hummus on the side!).

Hope this helped!
You can't really do much with the hummus itself, so you will have to make do with spicing up the chicken itself and serving the two together along with pitta bread and / or salad leaves.

Good spices for chicken are:

Paprika, Cumin, Chilli Powder, Curry Powder and some supermarkets will sell something like a Moroccan spice blend.

Simply heat a little oil in a pan, and fry the spices for 30 seconds then add the chicken and cook through

Why not just serve the hummus on the side as a dip? Or make a pita-pocket sandwich, spreading hummus in the pita, laying foast chicken in there, lettuce, tomato, and some black olives. Mmmm.

You can chop up the chicken and dip the chicken into the hummus.
