Does anyone have a easy recipe for marinating meat or chicken?

I marinate all my chicken in zesty Italian dressing before grilling... gives it a little bit of a zing. My kids and old man love it.Does anyone have a easy recipe for marinating meat or chicken?
The easy answer is Italian dressing.

Try this though,

1/4 cup sesame oil

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup rice wine vinegar

1'; of fresh ginger, peeled - grated

2 cloves of fresh garlic - minced

marinate for at least an hour the longer the better.Does anyone have a easy recipe for marinating meat or chicken?

PREPARATION:

Line a 9x13-inch baking pan or shallow roasting pan with heavy duty foil.

Arrange chicken pieces, bell pepper rings, onions, potatoes, carrots, and celery on the foil. Pour tomatoes over all and season with salt and pepper. cover pan with foil. Roast at 375掳 for 1 hour, or until vegetables are tender. Lift foil and baste with juices. At this point, brush with the melted butter and sprinkle with paprika. Continue roasting, uncovered, for 45 minutes longer, or until chicken is tender and browned.

Bernsteins Restaurant Recipe Italian dressing works very well. It's quick and easy.

Or if you want to make your own:

Olive oil, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, garlic powder, lemon pepper, Worchester sauce, seasoned salt, onion powder and oregano.
Probably the easiest is pouring italian dressing over whichever you're cooking for dinner. Poke a few holes in the meat to tenderize it, (not too many!) and just let the whole thing sit for an hour or so. You can also use teriyaki, or whatever you like. Check out the marinade section in your grocery store, there are tons to choose from.
Italian Dressing

Salsa

BBQ Sauce

Lawry's 30-Minute Marinades are good

Lite Soy sauce with a little green onion, garlic and ginger

Teriyaki (sp?) Sauce
Depending on what type flavor you're looking for. If you like Italian salad dressing then that one is very good. However if not, then do the exact same thing only use soy sauce. Don't leave it sitting in the marinade for very long though its actually better if its only in there a couple of minutes, otherwise it gets too salty. If you prefer a little sweetness add some brown sugar to the soy sauce. This works great on the grill, in the oven, and in the skillet.

*For a different approach to pork chops or steaks....

Take a baking dish and add your pork to it. Open one can of any kind of soda (Coke,Pepsi,Mountain Dew, or Orange work best) pour half a can into a small bowl. Add 1/2 cup ketchup, 1/2 cup brown sugar, dash salt and pepper. Mix then set aside. Take remaining can of soda and pour over pork. Place pork in oven on 375* for 20 minutes, remove from oven, pour on ketchup mix, then bake for another 10 minutes.

You may have to alter the timing. You want the pork to be almost done, but not dry when you add the ketchup sauce. They're called Pop Chops, and they are really good.
italian dressing is the best, at least 2-4 hours.
put the meat in a ziplock bag and pour in some Italian salad dressing

throw any in ziplock bag and let set in fridge, take out about 15 minutes before cooking
Place your boneless, skinless chicken breast or trimmed meat portions in a 1 gallon Zip-Loc bag and then pour in one cup of any brand of oil/vinegar Italian dressing. Shake bag, coating all pieces liberally. Place in refrigerator until ready to cook!! It's that simple....
I have this recipe for a great mop/marinate.

Combine 1/2 cup of either bourbon or cooking sherry

1/4 cup veggie oil

1/4 cup peanut oil

3 tablespoons sesame oil

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 teaspoons Worcester sauce

2 teaspoons of garlic powder

freshly ground black pepper

just bring the mop to a slow boil and marinate away
dude chicken, just soak it in italian dressing, cook it in italian dressing and when it's done cooking, wipe all the italian off. it is so good and it is so easy
I marinade steak in Italian dressing. It turns out great! You can use that for chicken, too or try a sweeter marinade (If you like a sweet flavor) and use Poppy Seed dressing. It's always a hit here! ..Great, now I'm hungry....;)
1 cup of warmed vinegar poured over the meat with whatever spices you want .. put in the refrigerator over night. It's incredible what that does the meat just falls off the fork! and very tasty.
Pour a bottle of Italian dressing over it in a container. Shake it occassionally. (4 or 5 times) and leave overnight, shake well in am, cook it for dinner.
This is one I often do. As long as you aren't starving when you get home from work (can wait an hour) its a quick and easy recipe.

Glazed Honey and Soy Chicken with Sweet Chilli Sauce

(Serves 4)

125ml soy sauce

2 tbsp vegetable oil

2tbsp honey

2tbsp red wine

1 garlic clove, finely crushed

1 tbsp finely grated ginger (or 1tbsp ginger puree)

1 fresh red chilli, finely chopped (or 1 tbsp chilli sauce)

4 chicken breasts cut into slices

Stir all the ingredients, except the chicken, together in a small bowl. Put the chicken in a bowl or flat dish, pour the marinade over and mix with your hands to coat. Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least one hour.

Preheat oven to 180C. Put the chicken and the marinade and place in a roasting tin. Bake for 20-30 minutes.

Serve with fresh cucumber, coriander sprigs, lime wedges and fragrant (steamed) rice (I have a fragrant rice recipe too if you want it).

If you want a sauce with it, boil down the mariade until it thickens - it should only take a few minutes. This then nicely compliments the rice and makes the whole meal more moist.
yes! put it into a bag and pour dr.pepper in it. It will make the meat taste really good and tender.
Yes. Use half a bulb of fresh garlic crushed. 2tbsp soy sauce. Oregano seasoning about 2tbsp too and then a splash or two of lemon juice and a little bit of olive oil. Marinade over night!!! Yummy!!
