Recipes for authetic chinese chicken and sweet corn soup?

You know that awesome, simple..kind of gooey delicious soup everyone loves? I NEED some now, Lol.


Im pregnant, have the worst headcold ever (but cant take anything for it!) and some good chicken soup always makes you feel better!


Im not after some fancy version with chilli or ginger or anything, just the simple, delicous authetic Chinese version (drools....)


I know I could always go buy some but being pregnant Id prefer to make it myself so I know its fresh.

VELVET CHICKEN %26amp; SWEET CORN SOUP: I love this soup!!





Ingredients:





1/2 lbs Boneless chicken breasts cut into small thin pieces





Marinade:





2 egg whites, beaten


2 tbsp cornstarch


1/8 tsp salt





Assembly





17 oz can creamed corn


3 cup chicken stock


1 tbsp light soy sauce


salt %26amp; pepper to taste


sesame oil





Procedures:





Mix the chicken pieces with the egg-white marinade and refrigerate for 30 minutes.





Heat the creamed corn along with the soup stock and light soy. When hot add the chicken and the marinade. Stir the egg mixture into the soup and season to taste with the salt and pepper. Let cook 5-7 minutes on simmer. Add the sesame oil drops to garnish and serve.
